Late night bloggin

Hey guys i'm actually in bed pretty early but i got a lot of stuff to sort out tomorrow so i having an early start anyhoo just kinda giving a lil note, i'm sorry about not posting my song of the days recently i've been having problems with blogger and my internet and also i'm going to germany late wednesday night so i'ma have a lot of pics from there too.

Also i'm gonna post on K-swiss tomorrow which is a fun one.

I also need to figure out what outfit to wear on the wed/thursday because i need something not too uncomfortable but when i get there i'm meeting my friends after school so i wanna look good and it still needs to look good when i go out later hmmm a dilemma LOL.

I guess that was more of a ramble rather than an informative note haha well i haven't done it before so i think i can get away with it.

also i do have a reason for having a face mask on its that i wear it at night when i have a sore throat i don't know how but it helps!(way random)

This collection could be in order to broaden their horizons where it comes to existing customers or it is that they are branching out to the fly business man.

Crip walk shoes......?

Hey guys so you know yesterday i posted a video on a guy giving a C walk tutorial well i was checking out some other videos and found this guy who i thought was really awesome at it and he had pretty cool shoes on so i checked out the like and found out about these shoes that him and his twin brother have invented called 'Vestige'.

The shoes are designed purposely for this style of dancing, Michael and louis xu started c walking in 2007 and started selling the shoes half way through 2008. They managed to get the shoes made so easily because their dad actually owns a shoe factory (lucky!).

To get everything off the ground they got a loan from their dad lol for $4,000! I don't think my mum would do that HAHA anyway within the year they sold 40 pairs for $65 each which is pretty sweet for just starting out right!?

So the technical side about the shoes is that the sole is actually slanted at both the heel and the toe to make an easy pivot.So about the actual appearance of the shoe the logo is pretty fly and the white and black contrast is a nice idea but i do get a sort of bowling shoe feeling?

Well anyway thought i would do a lil research post today hope it wasn't boring!!?

Hey people! Just posting up this video of this dude Mitch who is from Tennessee that is awesome at C - walking which i'm sure most of you guys know about (maybe?) i think it is a really fun form of dancing so i was checking out c walk tutorials a few months ago and this guys finesse and style just totally stood out to me (let alone his crazy fresh sneakers). Also a great tutorial for anyone who wants to start up!

Hey guys i was just checking out the Louis Vuitton website for their latest products and i thought i would share my favorites with you guys!

'Save it bracelet' i love this bracelet i am one for chunky jewelry rather than petite style jewelry, it was inspired by one found on a trunk dating back to 1933, the beautiful 'hinge' makes it so eye catching let alone the vibrant multicolor monogram canvas on a natural cowhide lining.

I went to their website strayjewellery.com and this is definetly my favorite piece but there are so many adorable peices on their site like pendants earrings etc. Their jewellery makes me think of the style you would want if you want something to look a little bit more sophisticated and 'lady like' but that keeps the element of fun!

Lake blue cashmere

This is a classic long sleeved Ralph lauren cardigan, what makes it so luxurious is the blend of cotton, silk and cashmere, the color is gorgeous too 'lake blue'.

I do prefer mens cardigans if i want a short length one because i like the relaxed fit style.

This outfit really makes me think of a awesome summers day 'at sea' LOL but you know what i mean!

The white and blue stripped polo shirt adds a sense of casual then with the shorts still keeping it casual but with the pleated chino shorts it balances it out to a smart casual effect.

Who doesn't like white right? (makes you look extra tanned!)

So this song i from his latest album Relapse the song was released onto iTunes on the 28th April 2009 but the video was later released on may second 09'.

Pretty simple answer to why it is todays song is that it just popped into my head when i was just hangin' out!

Hey guys sorry i haven't posted over the weekend not even my song of the day posts i've been kinda sick so i've tired and stuff BUT enough of the excuses i am back with what i like to think of as big news! I have taken the second? i guess step into my own clothing line i have started up a online store, at the moment i am sorting out the financial situation because i am not yet 18 so i can't have a merchant account so that is just a small bump in the road but you guys can check it out if you like as i said it is still being built up to the necessary standard but its getting there!

Todays song is...... Tabloid junkie by Michael Jackson

I first heard this song when i was around 6 (1999) when my mum bought me the album 'HIStory: past presence and future Book 1', at the time i really liked the song because of the heavy pop rock theme of it. Of course when i got older i loved the song for a different reason, that being the meaning behind the song (his message to the media about their sick and twister manner they create news) and the lyrics as well as the intensity and passion of his voice.

So the song was released in 1995 as i said from his album 'HIStory: past presence and future Book 1', critics said that the song had similar lyrics to previous songs aimed at the media (this was actually his SEVENTH song aimed at the negative rumors and stories that the media created about him and his family).

The reason it is todays song is that i was watching skins and shockingly enough they played 'man in the mirror by Michael jackson and i decided to listen to some more Michael when i was walking my dog (not particularly interesting lol)

When i listen to this song this album or for that matter any of his albums it really makes me think about when i was a young kid in germany his music was definetly like the sound track of my childhood and i believe that is true for millions of people, and also on a not so high note it does make me feel kinda upset thinking this is it (yeah i no) this is what we have left there will never be another live performance by him his voice will never be heard from his mouth again its just almost depressing to think back to june last year and think what we are missing what he is missing and that such an amazing and influential person was taken from us like that.

10" tall Karl Lagerfeld

This is kind of a random post but look at this it makes me laugh!

This is a 10 inch tall collectible figuring of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, only 1000 figurines are available worldwide they were released last year so i would assume they have all be snatched up! They were only available in K Karl Lagerfeld and in TokiDoki's Milan, New York and Los Angeles stores. Costing approximately $190.

Karl Lagerfeld said "I am very flattered that i became a tokidoki. I always loved them and i am very happy to be one of them!"

Todays song is.......... Lonely Day by System of a Down

I first heard this song when i bought the film Distubia!! (lil woow) which was around november 2008.

Info on this song is that it was written by the bands guitarist Daron Malakian who also provides the tracks lead vocals which as far as i no is unusual i say that because im not certain as other wise i am not particularly 'into' this band not my style but this song is great i bought not long after i heard it in the film.

Lonely Day was the second release from their album Hypnotize which was released 2005.

The reason for being todays song is that i decided to watch Disturbia and of course got to the lonely day sequence and just stayed in my head!

Watch out for Taste Makers!

Okay so Taste Makers is a movement created by Keisha Robinson and consists of me, Keisha and Alex Tipping, this actually came together at the end of February, so i thought i would give a lil insight into it for my followers and to give an update on the Taste Makers lookbook!!

So we have been talking and the most likely time will be either the end of March or beginning of April for the release of the spring lookbook. So i hope everyone keeps supporting our movement because the wait will be worth it!

Todays song is...... Paradise city by Guns n' Roses!

Okay so i would have to guess on when i first heard this song because I'm not sure but i think it was when i was about 5 years old and my dad had the album and was playing it in the car.

Okay so as you guys know i am a HUGE Gn'R fan so i can give you a lil info off the top of my head, Paradise City is the sixth track from their first album with Geffen Records 'Appetite for Destruction' which was recorded in 1987.

Paradise city was released in 1988.

The reason it is todays song is because i was playing GTA (again) lol and there was an option to play Car jack city which just made me think of the title paradise city and so i was singing it whilst shooting people in the head with a sniper riffle LOL!!

When either listening to this song or the album it takes me back to the summer of 2008 when me and my friends were hanging out ever day and me and my friend Jemma were screwing around (work experience) and i was listening to it on my ipod all day long!

so i first heard this song at the end of last year and to be honest i don't think much of cheryl cole and at the time not much of the song but it is catchy!

Its todays song because when we were driving down to Lakeside shopping mall it came on and i liked it but then it stuck in my mind so i was walking around doing that thing people do when they only now a couple words from the chorus then go 'na na na doo doo do' LOL.

In this collection i find the contrast of colours reflecting well onto the style and design of the outfits my personal favorite is the second picture because i love the idea of mixing the casual bright blue coat with the formal waist coat shirt and tie combo and then with the white shorts it adds the summer feelin' to the whole outfit bringing it together to something you could wear at a business meeting on a private yacht! The only thing i can remember about when i fist heard this song was that it was 2004 and i was in norther Ireland being around 10 or 11 years old.

My favorite part of the video is the crazy red dog/wolf where as for a lot of guys it would be the dancing from Alesha Dixon!

Todays song is....Replay by IYAZ

Okay so first time i heard this song was on a tutorial video on Youtube.com which was a tutorial for basic c-walk moves (loves c-walk)

So the other day i was on MTV or something and that song came on and i was like hey i really like this song and today i bought it from itunes.

I actually hadn't heard of IYAZ before so i had to do a lil research on good ol' wikipedia and found out that Sean Kingston found him thanks to his myspace page and released replay at the end of last year so quite a spring chicken in the music industry!

Lil note about the video not much to say there just one of them videos that you expect to see in the summer lol because its all fun and on the beach yah know what i mean? Also he is wearing a yums shirt in some of the vid which is cool, i quite like yums clothing but there isn't much variety or choice with their shirts or hoodies.

Adidas Gives You Wings!

Now these are definitely jaw dropping!

These were released March 2009 so I'm a lil behind but its only been the last few weeks that i have known about them and they are so dope that in that time i managed to discover them for myself, fall in love and order a pair HaHa.

I love the 80's retro basketball style these sneakers have but also the colours and leather wing extra just combine the sleek sport look with the fashion consious high class style of JS designs.

These have been on the feet of Kanye west, I'm sure i saw a pic of Pharrell wearin a pair and then our boy Diggy Simmons so they were at the top of my must have list!

Today's song would have to be 'Everywhere we go' By Hollywood Undead The rock/rap band from LA.

First time i found out about this song was from my sister who heard it on their album 'Swan Songs' before it had been released, so i checked it out on youtube and couldn't get enough of it, that was quite a few months ago but today for the first time i saw it on SCUZZ and it stayed in my head all day!

Ever since the release of 'Undead' last year i have been anticipating every song after that not only is their music style raw and hardcore so its their attitudes and appearance, check it out.

"Buy beer or pay the rent? my signing bonus was quickly spent so i'll beat my meat like I'm a fuckin' butcher and punk the pussy like I'm Ashton kutcher" derogatory? maybe hilarious definitely!
